CTP - Certified Turnaround Professional
CTP stands for Certified Turnaround Professional. The designation was formed to recognize business professionals with extensive experience and expertise representing corporations in the renewal process both in and out of the courts.
The Certification Oversight Committee and Turnaround Management Association International (TMA), which is made up of over 9,000 members, endorse the principles of the certification. TMA members include attorneys, commercial bankers, asset based lenders, investment bankers, investors, accountants, and consultants.https://turnaround.org
TMA Code of Ethics
Members of the Turnaround Management Association are dedicated to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and competence for those engaged in all matters involving turnaround and crisis management and corporate renewal.
The transactions in which we engage are diverse, multifaceted and sometimes complex. It is thus not possible to state a set of rules that would prescribe proper behavior under every circumstance. However, to provide guidance and clarity, we have developed and stated our Code of Ethics.
This Code is composed of Canons and Ethical Standards. The Canons are broad principles of conduct. The Ethical Standards (E.S.) are more specific goals toward which members should aspire in professional performance and behavior.

CVA - Certified Valuation Analyst
A Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), is an individual that has specific training in valuation methods and analysis as certified by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). We have completed rigorous testing and case study work to be able to identify the most appropriate valuation techniques for your transaction. We can perform valuation engagements for individuals or companies that need them for a variety of business, legal and personal issues.
Even if you are not actively looking to buy, sell or merge with an existing business, you should have a current understanding of what your business is worth.
